For one of our clients, a company offering a range of products and solutions in the fields of smart energy, energy efficiency, and renewable energy, I am looking for a candidate for the position of Country Manager.
As the Country Manager for Indonesia, you will be responsible for setting up, scaling, and leading the company's commercial and operational strategy in the country. This includes overseeing market development, sales leadership, policy navigation, and establishing strong local partnerships. You will be a strategic leader and hands-on executor in expanding the client’s clean energy and storage business in Indonesia.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
1. Develop and execute the long-term country strategy, aligned with Linyang's Corporate strategy.
2. Build strong market insights and share with Corporate management to define the right local business strategy.
3. Represent the company in government, regulatory, and industry forums related to renewable energy and energy storage.
Business Development & Sales:
1. Identify, develop, and maintain high-value customer relationships across regions.
2. Drive the full sales cycle for renewable energy and energy storage.
3. Lead the team to achieve the regional annual sales, revenue, and profit targets.
Market Expansion & Operations:
1. Manage the distribution network and implement marketing activities to achieve sustainable business growth.
2. Track, interpret and conduct market analysis and research on renewable energy and energy storage related policies.
3. Provide analysis and recommendations on key regulatory developments affecting the business.
4. Ensure compliance with local laws, tax, and employment practices.
5. Other tasks assigned by leaders.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or Economics. MBA preferred.
Over 10 years of sales, commercial, general management experience in the renewable energy, energy storage or related experience is preferred.
Strong Business leadership, lead cross-functional teams, proven ability to launch and scale operations.
Deep understanding of Indonesian market conditions, strong sales drive, communication skills and numbers acumen.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required. Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.
